Este fenómeno se reduce con el uso de cubiertas para vaso con una abertura mínima durante el ensayo. Es importante que los orificios para la verificación de temperatura y adición de muestras se cierren cuando no estén en uso. Así mismo, las pérdidas se pueden reducir aún más utilizando cubiertas de baja evaporación con diseño cónico.
Stoppers
En el desarrollo de las pruebas, se pueden acoplar stoppers a las cánulas cuando se realice muestreo manual, para asegurar que la muestra se toma siempre a la misma profundidad.
La cubierta del vaso debe tener el orificio adecuado para que el stopper (que está unido a la cánula) se acople. La selección del stopper y la cánula debe coincidir con la cubierta de vaso que se usa. Conozca más acerca de cánulas y stoppers en el siguiente link.
